Szeptember 18-án, pénteken elhagyhatta a kórházat és hazatért gyulafehérvári lakosztályába Kovács Gergely érsek, akit szeptember 8-án szállítottak magas lázzal és rossz közérzettel az érseki székváros kórházába. Mint ismeretes, a főpásztor 10 nappal ezelőtt végzett koronavírus-tesztje pozitív lett.

Az érsek hazatérése után a kezelés és felépülés új szakaszba érkezett, továbbra is orvosi felügyelet alatt marad, pihennie és töltődnie kell a következő hetekben – tájékoztatta szerkesztőségünket Hurgoi János érseki irodaigazgató. Az érseki iroda vezetője közvetítette a hazatérő főpásztor köszönetét a gyógyulásáért végzett imákért.

Egy hete online rózsafüzér-imát kezdeményeztek a főegyházmegye papjai, amelyet minden este 8 órakor végeznek és amelybe internetes közvetítés által a templom.ro oldalon valamint annak Facebook-oldalán lehet bekapcsolódni. Az imát a koronavírus-járvány által érintett betegekért, családtagjaikért, ápolóikért ajánlják fel.

Dear brothers and sisters, the path before us is clear, though it is not easy. We are called to allow our hearts to be renewed, so that we might seek peace and care for creation. Scripture tells us to guard our hearts, for everything we do flows from them (cf. Prov 4:23).
