A Securitate dossziéinak 236, Márton Áronra vonatkozó kötete összesen 77 ezer lapot tartalmaz, ezt egészíti ki a Bűnvádi Iratok Fondjában található, Márton Áron és társai perének anyagát tartalmazó iratcsomó – derült ki az augusztus 23-25. között Csíkszentdomokoson, a püspök szülőfalujában első alkalommal megrendezett Márton Áron-konferencián. A kétnapos rendezvényen történészek, egyháztörténészek, szociológusuk, pedagógusok, szerkesztők mutatták be és vitatták meg Márton Áron püspökhöz kapcsolódó kutatási eredményeiket.

Az egyházfő megfigyelési anyagait áttekintő kutatók beszámoltak arról, hogy a Securitate által megfigyelt összes romániai személy közül Márton Áronra vonatkozik a legnagyobb mennyiségű iratanyag a Securitate Irattárát Vizsgáló Országos Tanács (CNSAS) levéltárában.

A kétnapos konferencián Dr. Jakubinyi György gyulafehérvári római katolikus érsek, Dr. Denisa Bodeanu történész, a CNSAS levéltárosa, Márton Áron Securitate-dossziéjának kutatója, Stefano Bottoni történész, Virt László szociológus, szociálpolitikus, Msgr. Dr. Kovács Gergely pápai káplán, kánonjogász, a Kultúra Pápai Tanácsának irodavezetője, Márton Áron szentté avatási ügyének posztulátora, Kuszálik Péter író, szerkesztő, Dr. Ozsváth Judit, a BBTE Pszichológia és Neveléstudományok Karán belül működő Pedagógia és Alkalmazott Didaktika Intézet adjunktusa tartottak előadásokat. Each year the World Day of Migrants and Refugees invites us to turn our attention to different aspects of the complex phenomenon of migration. For this 112th World Day, the theme, “Even just one of these children,” draws our attention to the minors directly involved in the experience of migration and flight, to the care owed to them, and to the Lord’s promise that “whoever receives one such child in my name receives me” (Mk 9:37).
