Életének 81., papságának 54. évében, 2021. február 11-én, türelemmel viselt hosszas szenvedés után Balázs György c. esperes, nyugalmazott plébános visszaadta lelkét Teremtőjének.

1940. október 27-én született Kászonimpéren, tanulmányait szülőfalujában, a gyulafehérvári kántoriskolában és Gyulafehérvári Hittudományi Főiskolán végezte. 1967. április 2-án szentelte pappá Isten szolgája Márton Áron püspök.

Papi életének állomáshelyei: Kászonjakabfalva, Nagyernye, Kézdisárfalva, Kézdiszentlélek, Madéfalva, Újtusnád. Nyugdíjas éveit Kászonjakabfalván töltötte.

Temetése 2021. február 15-én 10 órától lesz a kászonaltízi plébániatemplomból, az érte felajánlott szentmise után.

Each year the World Day of Migrants and Refugees invites us to turn our attention to different aspects of the complex phenomenon of migration. For this 112th World Day, the theme, “Even just one of these children,” draws our attention to the minors directly involved in the experience of migration and flight, to the care owed to them, and to the Lord’s promise that “whoever receives one such child in my name receives me” (Mk 9:37).
