2014 adventjének első vasárnapján világszerte elkezdődött a megszentelt élet éve. A szerzeteseket és a megszentelt életet más formában választókat középpontba állító tematikus évhez a Magyar Kurír hírportál több kezdeményezéssel is csatlakozott, amelyek közül kiemelkedik Az én szerzetesem elnevezésű kampány.

A kampányba való bekapcsolódásra biztatjuk erdélyi olvasóinkat is! Az én szerzetesem keretében fotóval kísért 500–2000 karakteres írásokat várunk, amelyben a szerzők megosztják olvasóinkkal, ki a kedvenc szerzetesük vagy más megszentelt életet élő ismerősük, mit jelent ő számukra, mit szeretnek benne. A legjobban sikerült írásokat (ha szükséges, szerkesztés után) a Magyar Kurír oldalán a Megszentelt élet rovatban publikáljuk. Az írásokat az mk@katolikus.hu címre várjuk a tárgy rovatban Az én szerzetesem megnevezéssel.

A megszentelt élet éve 2016. február 2-áig, Gyertyaszentelő Boldogasszony napjáig tart, amely hagyományosan a megszentelt életet élők ünnepe.

For this 112th World Day, the theme, “Even just one of these children,” draws our attention to the minors directly involved in the experience of migration and flight, to the care owed to them, and to the Lord’s promise that “whoever receives one such child in my name receives me” (Mk 9:37).

Dear brothers and sisters, the path before us is clear, though it is not easy. We are called to allow our hearts to be renewed, so that we might seek peace and care for creation. Scripture tells us to guard our hearts, for everything we do flows from them (cf. Prov 4:23).
