Szentatyánk, XIV. Leó pápa a Papi Megszentelődés Napján így buzdította a jelenlévő papokat; e szavakkal fordulok most én is jubiláns papjaimhoz: „Arra hívlak benneteket, hogy ma, Krisztus Színe előtt, újítsátok meg igeneteket Istennek és az ő szent népének. Engedjétek, hogy a kegyelem formáljon benneteket; őrizzétek a Szentlélek tüzét, amelyet a szentelésben kaptatok, hogy vele egyesülve Jézus szeretetének szentségei lehessetek a világban. Ne féljetek törékenységetektől: az Úr ugyanis nem tökéletes papokat keres, hanem alázatos szíveket, amelyek nyitottak a megtérésre és készek úgy szeretni, ahogyan ő maga szeretett minket.”

A jó Pásztor végtelen kegyelméből főegyházmegyénk áldozópapjai közül tízen jubilálnak 2026-ban. Adja meg a Mester nekik a mindvégig tartó hűséges és önzetlen áldozópapi szolgálat ajándékát!

Each year the World Day of Migrants and Refugees invites us to turn our attention to different aspects of the complex phenomenon of migration. For this 112th World Day, the theme, “Even just one of these children,” draws our attention to the minors directly involved in the experience of migration and flight, to the care owed to them, and to the Lord’s promise that “whoever receives one such child in my name receives me” (Mk 9:37).

Message of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV for the 11th World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation 2026

Dear brothers and sisters, the path before us is clear, though it is not easy. We are called to allow our hearts to be renewed, so that we might seek peace and care for creation. Scripture tells us to guard our hearts, for everything we do flows from them (cf. Prov 4:23).
