A XIII. Csávossy György Kárpát-medencei Borversenyen a Gyulafehérvári Római Katolikus nyolc benevezett bormintája közül kettőt arany, kettőt ezüst és kettőt bronz éremmel tüntetett ki a nemzetközi zsűri. A rendezvényt a Magyar Bor Akadémia, a Magyar Zászlósborok Rendje, a Hegyközségek Nemzeti Tanácsa és a Soós István Borászati Szakképző Iskola szervezésében Budafokon, a Borászati Technikumban november 15-én tartották.

A határon túli magyar borászok által beküldött 166 borminta között, a 100 pontos rendszerben lezajló, négy bizottságban bonyolítottak le. A zsűriben nem csak magyarországi szakemberek, hanem a nevezők, a határon túli borászok közül is többen részt vettek. A szakemberek bírálata alapján 4 nagy arany-, 24 arany-, 61 ezüst- és 57 bronzérem került kiosztásra.

A Gyulafehérvári Római Katolikus Érsekség Tóth Csaba borász szakértelmét dicsérő nyolc bormintája közül a Rozsamáli (2014) és a Zalagyöngye (2018) arany, a Misebor (2016) és a Kövér (2017) ezüst, a Jardorán (2018) és az Olasz rizling (2018) bronz minősítést kapott.

A verseny nem csak a magyar borászatok versengését jelenti, hanem kitűnő alkalom a határokon a magyar borászatért dolgozó szakemberek találkozására és tapasztalataik kicserélésére. A jó hangulatban zajló versenyen idén is megmutatkozott a magyar borászok határokon átívelő összetartozása.

For World Mission Day 2026, which marks the centenary of a celebration established by Pius XI that is very dear to the Church, I have chosen the theme “One in Christ, united in mission.” Following the Jubilee Year, I wish to encourage the whole Church to continue its missionary journey with joy and zeal in the Holy Spirit.

Each year the World Day of Migrants and Refugees invites us to turn our attention to different aspects of the complex phenomenon of migration. For this 112th World Day, the theme, “Even just one of these children,” draws our attention to the minors directly involved in the experience of migration and flight, to the care owed to them, and to the Lord’s promise that “whoever receives one such child in my name receives me” (Mk 9:37).

Dear brothers and sisters, the path before us is clear, though it is not easy. We are called to allow our hearts to be renewed, so that we might seek peace and care for creation. Scripture tells us to guard our hearts, for everything we do flows from them (cf. Prov 4:23).
