Dr. Kovács Gergely érsek vezetésével az érsekség munkatársai a mai napon a szokásostól eltérő módon imádkozták az Úrangyala imádságot. 1938. december 24-én XI. Piusz pápa Gyulafehérvár püspökévé nevezte ki Márton Áront, ezt követő évben február 12-én részesült a szentelés kegyelmében. Ezen jeles esemény 82. évfordulójáról történt megemlékezés az érseki palota udvarán boldog emlékű püspökünk szobra körül. Ugyanakkor papi hivatásokért is imádkoztunk, kérve Áron püspök közbenjárását igaz és hiteles papi hivatásokért Isten nagyobb dicsőségére. Megemlékezésünk segítse munkatársainkat, papjainkat és főegyházmegyénk híveit, hogy boldogemlékű püspökünk életpéldáját követve igazabb és reménylátóbb keresztények lehessünk egy nehezebb járványhelyzet okozta kihívásokkal teli időszakban is.

Each year the World Day of Migrants and Refugees invites us to turn our attention to different aspects of the complex phenomenon of migration. For this 112th World Day, the theme, “Even just one of these children,” draws our attention to the minors directly involved in the experience of migration and flight, to the care owed to them, and to the Lord’s promise that “whoever receives one such child in my name receives me” (Mk 9:37).
