Alsócsernátonnak 1332-ben plébániatemploma volt, melynek papja Péter. A templom a reformáció idején a reformátusok kezére került. A mostani katolikus templomot 1844-ben építtette Zámbler János kanonok-plébános a Csíkszentmártonban eladott szülői vagyonból. A plébánia 1873-ban szerveződött újra, a plébániai lakás pedig 1905 után épült. Az 1700-as évek elején a Bernáld nemesi család – a katolikus vallásra viszszatérve – kápolnát rendezett be udvarházában. Udvari káplánt kértek és kaptak. 1793-tól állandó lelkésze van a kis katolikus közösségnek. Önálló iskolaépülethez 1840-ben jutottak, ugyancsak Zámbler János plébános jóvoltából, aki azt is saját költségén építtette – ebben az időközben felújított épületben működik jelenleg az ifj úsági ház. Alsócsernáton szülötte Szilveszter Sándor (sz. 1902. január 12.) ordinarius substitutus. Felsőcsernáton templomát Bodó Imre plébános építtette 1983-ban, tornyot 1996-ban, Bakó Antal plébános idejében kapott. Kézdimárkosfalvának már 1332-ben plébániatemploma volt. A reformáció idején a templom átkerült a reformátusok tulajdonába. A katolikusok 1975-ben kápolnát vásároltak, melyet Szent Márk evangélista tiszteletére szenteltek fel. Dálnokon a pápai jegyzék szerint a pap Dikó esperes volt. A régi templom a reformáció idején református lett. 2008-ban a 101 katolikus hívő templomépítéshez fogott, mely 2009-ben már pirosban állt.
Kézdialbison a középkori katolikus templom a reformáció idején a reformátusok tulajdonába került. A kevés katolikus hívő részére a szentmiséket Vizsuly Józsefné lakásán tartják.

For World Mission Day 2026, which marks the centenary of a celebration established by Pius XI that is very dear to the Church, I have chosen the theme “One in Christ, united in mission.” Following the Jubilee Year, I wish to encourage the whole Church to continue its missionary journey with joy and zeal in the Holy Spirit.

Each year the World Day of Migrants and Refugees invites us to turn our attention to different aspects of the complex phenomenon of migration. For this 112th World Day, the theme, “Even just one of these children,” draws our attention to the minors directly involved in the experience of migration and flight, to the care owed to them, and to the Lord’s promise that “whoever receives one such child in my name receives me” (Mk 9:37).

Dear brothers and sisters, the path before us is clear, though it is not easy. We are called to allow our hearts to be renewed, so that we might seek peace and care for creation. Scripture tells us to guard our hearts, for everything we do flows from them (cf. Prov 4:23).
