ADVENT LANTERN (daily meditations),
December 2, Wednesday
Dr. Kerekes László auxiliary bishop
We are often strangers in our own home, in our own homeland. It is so good to feel safe. It is so comfortable to have a place where we can get rid of our masks, where we are accepted as we are, where we are comforted, our tears are wiped off, where we do not need to explain the stains that cover us. God offers us such a place. That is why the prophet declares: he is God and we trust him. He frees us. He heals our wounds and feeds us, because he is our God.
