It is not very common to know our family tree. Some people who are very interested in the history of their family, have their family tree done. The Gospels have preserved the family tree of Jesus. But not only those belong to Jesus’ family tree, whose names are written and preserved in the Gospel, but all the Christians. Once when Jesus was told his mother and family were waiting for him, asked: but who is my mother and who are my relatives?! “And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, Jesus said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is my brother, and sister, and mother.’” (Matthew 12:49-50) Christmas is a wonderful feast for us, because we belong to Jesus. It is such a great honour and pleasure to belong to Jesus!

Alcătuirea arborelui familiei (arbore genealogic) nu este un obicei generalizat. Este pasiunea unora, care sunt interesați de originea lor, care doresc să afle mai multe despre înaintașii, strămoșii lor. Evangheliile au consemnat pentru noi și arborele genealogic al lui Isus. În mod interesant, în acest arbore genealogic nu sunt incluși doar aceia, care îi aparțin, ci și toți cei botezați. Însuși Isus, când i s-a spus că mama și „frații lui” doresc să vorbească cu el, a pus întrebarea în felul următor: cine este mama mea și cine sunt frații mei? Cel care îndeplinește voia Tatălui meu ceresc, aceia toți, sunt fratele meu, sora mea și mama mea (Mt 12, 46-50). De aceea este Crăciunul o sărbătoare așa de mare pentru noi, deoarece putem fi ai lui Isus. Să aparțin de el cu fericită bucurie!
Karácsony ünnepére talán ebben az évben várakoztunk a legintenzívebben, hiszen annyi minden történt velünk, környezetünkkel, a világgal, ami elgondolkoztatott bennünket, és még jobban Isten felé emeli lelkünket. Vágyakoztunk Őrá, akinek eljövetele bevilágít a világ és emberi életünk sötétségébe. Karácsonykor újra visszatalálunk Istenhez, megtaláljuk helyünket a betlehemi Kisded jászla mellett...
Probabil anul acesta am așteptat la modul cel mai intensiv sărbătoarea Crăciunului, deoarece s-au întâmplat atât de multe lucruri cu noi, cu mediul înconjurător, cu lumea, lucruri care ne-au pus pe gânduri și care ne ridică mai mult sufletele către Dumnezeu.
Amikor Jézus látta az embereket, megesett a szíve rajtuk, és így szólt tanítványaihoz: "Az aratnivaló sok, de a munkás kevés. Kérjétek hát az aratás Urát, hogy küldjön munkásokat az aratáshoz." (Mt 9,36-38). Napjainkban, amikor egyre kevesebben kötelezik el magukat a papi szolgálatra a Mester követésében, különösen érezzük Jézus felhívásának időszerűségét.
2020. december 8-án Ferenc Szentatya Patris Corde (Atyai szívvel) kezdetű apostoli levéllel meghirdette a Szent József évet, abból az alkalomból, hogy Szent Józsefet, Mária jegyesét 150 éve nyilvánították a Katolikus Egyház védőszentjévé.
