How good it is to be assured that God is close to us, reveals himself to us, gives us the gift of his inner life (which is love). Prophet Isaiah reminds us this Advent time that the Lord binds up the wounds of his people. And when God appears, his heart falls on people (on us) and he heals all our sicknesses and all our troubles. Then he sends us: 'go and preach'. Let us also be healing people, binding up the wounds of others.
Ce bine este să ne asigurăm că Dumnezeu este aproape de noi, că ni se revelează, că ne dăruiește darul propriei sale vieți interioare (iubire). Domnul leagă rănile poporului său, ne amintește profetul Isaia în acest timp de Advent. Și când apare, inima lui se îndreaptă spre oameni (spre noi) și ne vindecă toate bolile și toate necazurile noastre. Apoi ne trimite: "Mergeți și propovăduiți". Să fim și noi oameni care vindecă, care îngrijesc rănile altora.

Az Úr beköti népe sebeit, emlékeztet minket Izajás próféta ebben az adventi időben. Amikor pedig megjelenik, megesik az embereken (rajtunk) a szíve és meggyógyít minden betegségünket és minden bajt. Aztán minket küld: "menjetek és hirdessétek". Mi is legyünk gyógyító emberek, mások sebeinek bekötözője.
Római tartózkodásának kezdetén dr. Kovács Gergely érsek részt vett a december 1-i szerdai nyilvános audiencián. Ennek végén Ferenc pápa elé járulhatott. Püspökké szentelése és érseki beiktatása után első alkalom, hogy a főpásztor beszélhetett a Szentatyával. Felidézte, hogy csíksomlyói látogatása idején még a Kultúra Pápai Tanácsának hivatalvezetőjeként követte az apostoli utat.
In certain situations of our lives it is a great experience to be able to read between the lines, to hear the meaning of the words, to see what lies beneath the surface. These are moments of grace, gifts from God, of which the prophet Isaiah says: "in that day..." when the Saviour comes, who opens the eyes to see and the ears to hear.
În anumite situații din viața noastră, este o experiență extraordinară să poți citi printre rânduri, să auzi sensul cuvintelor, să vezi ce se ascunde sub suprafață. Sunt momente de har, daruri de la Dumnezeu, despre care profetul Isaia spune: "în ziua aceea...", când va veni Mântuitorul, care ne va deschide ochii pentru a vedea și urechile pentru a auzi.
Életünk bizonyos helyzetében egy nagyszerű tapasztalás, amikor tudunk olvasni a sorok között, ki tudjuk hallgatni a szavakból a lényeget, meg tudjuk látni, ami a felszín alatt van. One of the challenges of our Advent season is to seek and to do the will of God, where ever we are, according to our condition and situation. We must do this with our whole heart, with great love for God, not only in words but also in deeds. Turning the teaching of Jesus into deeds gives the rock foundation of our lives. It will outlive any storm because it is built on a solid foundation.
Una dintre provocările importante ale timpului nostru de Advent este să căutăm și să facem voia lui Dumnezeu acolo unde ne aflăm, în funcție de starea și situația noastră. Și trebuie să facem acest lucru cu toată inima, cu o mare iubire pentru Dumnezeu, nu doar cu cuvinte, ci și cu fapte. Punerea în practică a învățăturii lui Isus ne oferă fundamentul puternic al vieții noastre, care va rezista oricărei furtuni pentru că are o temelie solidă.
